Offer as many discounted product coupons as you can through a landing page and advertise that landing page to your email list, forums, etc.

This costs money and you need to have a product that people will actually buy. It works for new/lower ranked products because it increases the “popularity” of the product and pushes it up the list.

It’s a good idea to combine this with other promotions and press releases to create a big jump.
